We are thrilled to begin this year's Netsafety Week in collaboration with NZTech, who will host the Wellington Dialogues Tech Policy Conference on 29th of July. This event will unite policy makers and technology innovators to help shape a safer digital environment in New Zealand.
Amokura Panoho, Netsafe's Poutaki Matauranga Māori, was invited to speak in Whanganui as part of Techweek. The panel discussion focuses on digital safety, particularly highlighting the experiences of women and marginalized groups. Amokura will address the intersections of online safety for wahine Māori and online safety concerning sexual violence.
